The Hummel “Serenade” figurine features an Angel with a Lamb & Lute, designed by Reinhold Unger and signed by both the artist and Hummel. This small-to-medium-sized porcelain figurine depicts an angel with rosy cheeks and an orange robe in a multicolor both matte & glassy finish conveying a Christmas theme through its musical subject. Manufactured in 1950 -1959 in Germany, this original piece from the Hummel collection showcases a Storybook style from the mid-20th century era. It was called “Psalmist” in earlier catalogs. Perfect for display in various rooms like the study, foyer, living room, bedroom, or lounge, the figurine measures 5.6 inches in length X 2.75 inches in width X 3 depth. Hummel is inscribed along outer bottom edge and an (R) for Reinhold, the master sculpted. No crazing. Wingtips are in MINT condition!!!
