Hummel Figurine – “The Love Lives On” (#416) 50th Anniversary Jubilee Special Edition – With Original Cardboard Box, Case & Papers. Hummel porcelain figurine titled “The Love Lives On” (Hum #416). This heartwarming piece was specially released to commemorate the 50th Anniversary Jubilee of M. It features a young boy holding a love letter and a girl carrying a beautiful bouquet of flowers. Extremely rare to find with both original boxes intact. The original outer cardboard box does have wear and some tears / rips with the flap. Title: “The Love Lives On” (Jubilee Edition). Model Number: HUM #416. Figurine: Excellent collector’s condition. There are no chips, cracks, or repairs. The hand-painted colors and glazed finish remain vibrant and beautifully preserved. TMK1 DOUBLE CROWN LIP BASE DUET #130 Old, Extremely Rare, MINT, Goebel Hummel

Offered for sale is an EXTREMELY RARE, highly sought after, and hard to find EARLY version of the DUET #130 figurine with the LIP BASE. It depicts two boys singing from a sheet of music. What is Special about it, and why is it so rare? The only TMK1 double crown thin lip base Duet for sale on the entire internet as of this posting. LIP BASE, which is the thin platform on top of the base and which is extremely rare to find. Only found in some very early TMK1 models. Finding a double crown in itself is rare and hard to find, and even more rare and considerably more valuable if it has the lip base. Hummel signature on the base which authenticates it. Designed by Arthur Moeller and released to the public in 1939, retired in 1950. Only a small number of the early TMK1 DUET Hummels were made with the lip base characteristic. All others have the usual rectangle base with no lip. This 86 year old Hummel is in MINT condition and has no cracks, chips, crazing or repairs. This stunning Hummel stands 5 inches tall, and is highly sought after by serious collectors. Don’t let this one slip away for only. It has under the base an incised, as well as a stamped, TMK 1 “Crown Mark”. Is a so-called “double crown” figurine. Since there are no other stamps, it was most likely. This figurine was originally modeled by master sculptor Reinhold Unger in 1938. Being an early piece, both pigtails are down. There are a few tiny craze lines, mainly on top of the base.
