This is a lovely Hummel two-piece limited edition final issue set from the Hummelscapes Collection that was created for the millennium. Girl, and, boy figurine waving goodbye to the 20th century. The figurine gets inserted to the Hummelscape. This piece was displayed in my china closet, and, when I moved, and, opened the box, there were a couple of chips underneath the trees. It is not noticeable when displayed. Other than that both items are clean, and, mint. I never used the clock since it was for display purposes only. That is mint, and, works. Please see all the pictures, and, video. This does not come with papers, or, box. Just the tag as shown. I state as much information as possible, and, as accurately as possible, so there are no questions after end of listing. I get on computer 1-2 times a day and answer all questions sent to me. I have inventory stored in a climate controlled storage unit. It’s possible there are NONE of the above-referenced issues, but, I want to be upfront about any potential problems. SIZE: H: 6 3/4 to 7 DESCRIPTION. This figure, whose name means “goodbye” in English, was first released in the 1950’s in the 7 basic size. It was designed by master sculpture Arthur Moeller in 1943 and was originally called Good Bye. A smaller size was introduced during the Full Bee (Tmk-2) era. Both sizes have been restyled in recent years. In a rare version of this double figure piece, the little boy wears no cap but is waving a handkerchief, as in the girl. This piece was retired in 2000 and will not be made again. This figurine has the famous signature M. Hummel in the center like all his authentic pieces. Although my mother had this piece while I was growing up so I would assume it is early 1980’s. The artist full name is Sister Maria Innocentia Hummel born May 21, 1909. These figurines depicts her love of children, animals, nature, and her deep devotion to the Catholic faith, which were introduced by Franz W. Goebel at the Leipzig Fair in March 1935. The figurine is a bit dirty, I did not want to clean it as I was afraid to damage it. It is in perfect condition but does not have original box. Beware, there are a lot of fake Hummel figurines out there. Will make a great Christmas gift! Don’t let this one slip away. Please check out our other items in our store. Original Goebel Hummel figurine # Hum 153/0 “Auf Wiedersehen” by Goebel. Rare early version Boy With Hat. Height about 14 cm (5 1/2 inches). TMK 2 “Full Bee”. The figurine was made between 1950 and 1956. It has under the base a stamped, as well as an incised TMK 2 “Full Bee” plus “Germany” stamped. This figurine was originally modeled by master sculptor Arthur Moeller in 1943. In the early 1950s this small size was introduced. The figurine is well kept and in excellent condition with no damage, chips, repairs, crazing or the likes. Please feel free to contact me anytime for further information.
