Possible Future Edition Taller Version Angel with wings standing tall and holding a much more detailed lantern than the smaller released version. Overall this figure is of much higher quality and detail than the released as it is a mother sample, what was originally presented to the convent for approval. Only a very few samples are created and presented to the convent for approval, those that are not approved exist in only samples, typically in numbers you can count on one hand. This piece is not only taller, it stands on a square base compared to the released round base. Stands at 5.75″ tall compared to the released piece which stands at 4.5″. This is in excellent condition and comes as shown with no damage or repairs. As always, more than willing to accept reasonable offers too, thank you for viewing.

Here We have 2 Goebel figurines that both have the M J Hummel signature indented into the back of the base (Seen in pictures 3 and 4). The first one is of a boy sitting on a tree limb in an apple tree that has a blue bird on a limb and is number 141. The second is a girl wearing a dress sitting in an apple tree that has blooms and also has a bluebird on it. They both read W. Germany on the bottom. They both measure about 6 tall. I ALWAYS USE ACTUAL PICTURES.

Offered for sale is a MINT & ULTRA RARE – 7 Button MERRY WANDERER # 11 2/0 – TMK3 – 4.5 Tall by Goebel Hummel. This figurine depicts a happy-go-lucky boy with a travel bag in his left hand and an umbrella on his right shoulder setting out to make his mark in the world. It is ultra rare because of the 7 buttons instead of usual 5. A very popular figurine, the Merry Wanderer can be found in more sizes than any other M. One item to watch for on this size is a rarer version of this item with either six or seven buttons on the shirt in place of the typical five. The buttons appear to be painted on and the painter evidently lost count when applying them uniformly on the shirt. Molded by master sculptor Arthur Möeller in 1935, the predominant feature here is the 7 buttons of this very popular and sought after Merry Wanderer. Almost identical to the HUM 7 – Merry Wanderer HUM 11 is the smaller version of the Merry Wanderer Hum 7. This variation of the figurine is 4 ½ tall and has seven painted vest buttons instead of the usual five buttons. These are found on the smaller and rarer HUM 11 2/0 version. This one has the slightly raised painted buttons which feel raised to the touch, whereas most show only a painted circle on the flat surface. You can count on this figurine being more valuable than the usual 5-button version. (Text and last picture courtesy of mihummel. Org).
