LARGE 12.5″ HUMMEL “WELCOME SPRING 635 FIGURINE TMK-7. This large size figurine is titled “Welcome Spring” (#635), which depicts two young girls looking up at the flowers in a tree, the first signs of spring. A bird house and bird are also depicted in the top of the tree. This figurine was modeled in 1990 by master sculptor Helmut Fischer and was the 8th figurine in the Century Collection Series. This collectible figurine is quite large and stands about 12 1/2 tall to the top of the flowering tree. The base measures approximately 7 1/2″ x 5 1/2″. The top side of the base is marked with the incised M. I do NOT have the original box. Condition of this Hummel figurine is EXCELLENT with no chips, cracks, or fleabites. I don’t see any crazing on this piece. Overall, this figurine looks fantastic and displays beautifully. It would make a fine addition to any collection.
