Large 10.5 Hummel Merry Wanderer, Marked 7/II, Goebel W. Germany 1972

Merry Wondered is traveling with his umbrella and suitcase. He is a large Hummel figurine, 10.5 tall. The bottom is marked 7/II, Goebel W. A sticker is on the back of the base. He has been displayed for many years and is in excellent condition. There is light crazing on the bottom of the figurine.

7 BUTTON MERRY WANDERER TMK3 #11 2/0 ULTRA RARE 4.5 Tall Goebel Hummel MINT

Offered for sale is a MINT & ULTRA RARE – 7 Button MERRY WANDERER # 11 2/0 – TMK3 – 4.5 Tall by Goebel Hummel. This figurine depicts a happy-go-lucky boy with a travel bag in his left hand and an umbrella on his right shoulder setting out to make his mark in the world. It is ultra rare because of the 7 buttons instead of usual 5. A very popular figurine, the Merry Wanderer can be found in more sizes than any other M. One item to watch for on this size is a rarer version of this item with either six or seven buttons on the shirt in place of the typical five. The buttons appear to be painted on and the painter evidently lost count when applying them uniformly on the shirt. Molded by master sculptor Arthur Möeller in 1935, the predominant feature here is the 7 buttons of this very popular and sought after Merry Wanderer. Almost identical to the HUM 7 – Merry Wanderer HUM 11 is the smaller version of the Merry Wanderer Hum 7. This variation of the figurine is 4 ½ tall and has seven painted vest buttons instead of the usual five buttons. These are found on the smaller and rarer HUM 11 2/0 version. This one has the slightly raised painted buttons which feel raised to the touch, whereas most show only a painted circle on the flat surface. 1938 MERRY WANDERER TMK1 Marked April 38 Hum #7/0-6.25 Tall, Goebel Hummel RARE

Offered for sale is a RARE TMK1 Merry Wanderer HUM # 7/0. With bottom eyelashes, an incised crown mark. And dated April 1938–as per the markings on the underside. This is a large piece standing 6.25 Tall, not to be confused with HUM #11 which vary in height between approx. 4.25″ & 4.75″. Was molded by master sculptor Arthur Möeller in 1935. It depicts a happy-go-lucky boy with a travel bag in his left hand, and an umbrella on his right shoulder, setting out to make his mark in the world; which he most certainly did. He is one of the most beloved Hummels of all time. Condition: Excellent near mint condition, vibrant colors and very clean with some crazing on the top of base. Umbrella tip was repaired, but hard to notice–unless you know it’s there–as it was repaired with museum quality glue and that does not show up under UV black light. Please review all pictures, and close ups on last two photos. As they are an integral part of the description. Please feel free to contact me with any questions you might have before purchasing.
