HTF Goebel Hummel’FOR FATHER’ # 87. TMK-2 FULL BEE! ORANGE CARROTS
For That Special M. FOR FATHER’ # 87. For Father’ was an early 1940s release, formerly called’Father’s Joy’ and originally designed by Arthur Moeller in 1938. This figurine is one of those Rare Orange Carrot variations! Color is Exceptionally Bright. Check Out This Boy’s Rosy Cheeks & Knees! I’ve had him for 18 years and his coloring has always amazed me. Black Light Shows No Chips, Cracks or Repairs. I see (4) manufacturing’flaws’ with a black light & magnifying glass. These’flaws’ are insignificant and mostly not noticeable at all but I feel I need to point them out. Since I did see them. Photo (7) shows a dark spot in front of his left foot – this is probably a small air hole. Photo (8) shows a small ceramic bump on the right side of the base as he faces you. Photo (9) shows the incised M I Hummel signature, a small bump on the back of the base and some lines in the paint behind & along his left foot. Black light shows the lines are under the paint and are not cracks could be hair from the painter’s brush. PHOTOS ARE PART OF THE DESCRIPTION. Photos are of Item for Sale. Hummel figurine Hum 87 For Father TMK 1 Crown era
Original Goebel Hummel figurine # Hum 87 “For Father” by Goebel. Height about 14 cm (about 5 3/4 inches). TMK 1 “Crown Era”. The figurine was made between 1938 and 1949. It has under the base NO trade mark, as it is often the case with early crown era figurines. This figurine was originally modeled by master sculptor Arthur Moeller in 1938. The figurine is well kept and in excellent condition with no damage, chips, repairs, crazing or the likes. Please feel free to contact me anytime for further information.
