Offered for sale is Goebel Hummel #59, Skier TMK2 Full Bee with Wood Poles & Baskets (Discs). This is a stunning, and very popular figurine that stands 6 tall. The figurine is in excellent and very clean condition that any collector would be proud to own. Assemble the poles by inserting one of the top parts of a pole into the hole at bottom of skier’s hand and gently push up. The baskets (discs) will be at the bottom of the pole. Inset the bottom part of the same pole (basket will be at the bottom) into the hole in the mountain slope. Repeat steps for the other pole. Original Goebel Hummel figurine # Hum 65 “Farewell” by Goebel. Double crown mark old style. Height about 14.5 cm (about 5 3/4 inches). TMK 1 “Crown Mark”. The figurine was made between 1937 and 1949. It has under the base a stamped, as well as an incised TMK 1 “Crown Mark”, is a so-called “double crown” figurine. Since there are no other stamps, it was most likely made before 1945. This figurine was originally modeled by master sculptor Arthur Moeller in 1937. Incised “65” only, without a size designator, making it a very early piece. The figurine is well kept and in excellent condition with no damage, chips, crazing, repairs or the likes. Please feel free to contact me anytime for further information.
