Goebel Monk Cookie Jar 1957 Friar Tuck West Germany Hummel Ceramic Signed Vintag. Fantastic vintage Goebel West Germany Monk Cookie Jar. Marked and dated 1957. Please note that this is a vintage piece, created in West Germany in 1957. It is in excellent condition with normal wear including the following. Missing paint on the right eye. Chips around the base that have been touched up. Swirling and water spots to the paint. Crazing to the base. Please see all pictures for detail. It could be cleaned up nicely with a toothbrush and a little polish to restore the finish, but I will leave it to the new owner to do that as desired. The figurine is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs although there is minor no-harm crazing throughout (see photos). No other noted flaws. Has original paper label on base.
