Rare Hummel Figurine Goebel Made In Germany. This large vintage figurine features the charming Celestial Musician design by Goebel, crafted in West Germany between the fifties. Marked TMK 2 with the full bee stamp, it holds historical value for collectors of Hummel art. The piece presents in fair condition, showcasing signs of age and wear. The violin bow has been previously repaired and broken again; currently, the tip is temporarily held with tape as seen in the photos. The broken piece will be carefully packed separately to protect it during transit. Additionally, one of the angel’s wings has a visible chip, as pictured. Despite its flaws, this rare and beautifully detailed figurine retains much of its original charm and is offered at a great price. It is expected to sell quickly. The Hummel “Serenade” figurine features an Angel with a Lamb & Lute, designed by Reinhold Unger and signed by both the artist and Hummel. This small-to-medium-sized porcelain figurine depicts an angel with rosy cheeks and an orange robe in a multicolor both matte & glassy finish conveying a Christmas theme through its musical subject. Manufactured in 1950 -1959 in Germany, this original piece from the Hummel collection showcases a Storybook style from the mid-20th century era. It was called “Psalmist” in earlier catalogs. Perfect for display in various rooms like the study, foyer, living room, bedroom, or lounge, the figurine measures 5.6 inches in length X 2.75 inches in width X 3 depth. Hummel is inscribed along outer bottom edge and an (R) for Reinhold, the master sculpted. No crazing. Wingtips are in MINT condition!!!
