Closed limited edition M. Hummel Goebel Pleasant Journey. Was designed by Gerhard Skrobek. Figurine is the 2nd figurine from the Century Collection Series, and it was manufactured only during 1987. Is in excellent used condition with minimal age appropriate ware without any major defects/repairs. Please review the attached pics, which are part of the item description, for full details. All questions are encouraged and welcome. Dimensions: H=6 1/2″ (base: 7 3/8″ x 4). Figurine is marked: “406”, “W Germany”, “1987/XX” and some other potter marks. Base is double signed by (pic 12). This closed edition Hummel,’Pleasant Journey’ #406, was produced only in 1987 as the second piece in the Goebel/Hummel Century Collection. This charming work features two young girls pulling a wooden cart with a young boy enjoying the ride. The detail in the sculpting of the figures and the painting is exceptional. This piece is stamped with the authentic Hummel Century Collection stamp as well as the TMK-6 stamp. A unique addition to this figurine is a rare hand-signed inscription by Goebel Master painter Ottilie Jakob, that was added at a special signing event in 1987. The personal dedication reads “To Carolyn and Bob, ” Ottilie Jakob 3-31-87. This piece, which has been exhibited as part of our family collection, will make a wonderful addition to yours. No chips, cracks, scratches, or repairs. Underside of base-only- has faint crazing. Previously displayed as part of our family collection.

Goebel Hummel figurine #406 Pleasant Journey TMK6. It is the 2nd figurine in the Century Collection. Item is marked as such on bottom of figurine. Figurine in excellent condition. I do not see any chips or cracks. I have other Hummels listed for sale so please look at my other auctions. Be sure to look at the pictures as they constitute part of the description. PLEASE NOTE: Items referenced as “used” may have normal wear and tear due to age and use of the item. I try to describe as accurately as I can; however, something may be missed. May also need cleaning as many of my items come from estate sales. There is no way to track the package once it leaves the country by another carrier or be able to prove where or when if damage occurs. Thanks for taking a look at our items.
