Up for sale is a rare early marked 1950’s maybe even before that Goebel Hummel Christmas Nativity donkey. Donkey is in great condition just has a little bit of a residew on the bottom edge from someone putting a thin foam layer on the bottom to protect it. I pulled it of when I found this piece and would not of known it was a vintage Hummel and a rare one at that, thinking with the right cleaners it will totally come off and be in that much more of a great condition. Donkey has the 1950’s mark on the bottom and just Germany on it plus what I can sew is a stamped mark of H X and looks to be 12 and not sure what number or if that one after it.

Up for sale is a rare early Goebel Hummel figurine titled “Merry Wanderer”, model #11/I, featuring a jaunty boy mid-step with a walking stick and suitcase. Hummel Number: 11/I? Markings. Black stamp: U. 5.5?? Condition: Excellent vintage condition – no chips, cracks, or repairs. Color is vibrant and detailing crisp. This is one of the most iconic and beloved of all Hummel designs, especially sought-after in the early postwar version with the U. A true collector’s treasure. Original Goebel Hummel figurine # Hum 47. “Goose Girl” by Goebel. Double crown mark early piece. Height about 13 cm (about 5 1/4 inches). TMK 1 “Crown Mark”. The figurine was made between 1936 and 1949. It has under the base a stamped, as well as an incised TMK 1 “Crown Mark”, is a so-called “double crown” figurine. Black initial of Goebel’s painter Julius Sorge. Since there are no other stamps, it was most likely made before 1945. This figurine was originally modeled by master sculptor Arthur Moeller in 1936. I have never seen another Goose Girl with 47. Later figurines in this size are incised “47/0″.

Original Goebel Hummel figurine # Hum 317 Not For You! Rare early version Stylized Bee stamped “Western Germany” and C by W. Hight 14 cm (about 5 1/2 inches). TMK 3 “Stylized Bee”. The figurine was made between 1957 and 1963. Stamped under the base “Western Germany” and C by W. This figurine was originally modeled by master sculptor Arthur Moeller in 1955. It was made starting in 1961. This is a rare early version of this figurine with TMK 3 “Stylized Bee”. The figurine has light crazing, mainly at the base. The figurine is well kept and in excellent condition with no damage, chips, repairs or the likes. Please feel free to contact me anytime for further information. Only, without a size designator, making it a very early piece from the mid- to end 1930s. Umbrella handle light color. Hummel signature on top of base rather than on the side.
