WE HAVE JUST ACQUIRED A FULL COLLECTION OF HUMMEL COLLECTOR’S PLATES FROM OUR CLIENT. THESE WERE LOVINGLY CARED FOR BY HIS MOM IN A SEALED CURIO CABINET FOR OVER 50 YEARS! In 1971, Hummel produced its first annual plate. The very first plate, “Heavenly Angel” was released to the factory workers to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the W. The plate was later made for retail sale. This first plate was so popular in the United States, it was decided that similar plates would be released annually from then on.

8 Hummel Umbrella Girl by W. There is an incised circle around a Stylized Bee. It most closely resembles TMK-5 which is called “The last Bee mark”. After this, Hummel no longer used the V or the Bee in their trademarks. This Hummel figurine has had one owner who cared meticulously for all her figurines.
