Original Goebel Hummel figurine # Hum 10/1 “Flower Madonna” by Goebel. Crown MArk Rare paint variant open halo. Height about 21 cm (about 8 1/4 inches). TMK 1 “Crown Mark”. The figurine was made between 1935 and 1949. It has under the base an incised TMK 1 “Crown Mark”. Since there are no other stamps, the figurine was most likely made before 1945. This figurine was originally modeled by master sculptor Reinhold Unger in 1935. This is the original old style with the open halo. It is painted in a rare paint variant. There are a few tiny craze lines, only on the underside of the base. The figurine is well kept and in excellent condition with no damage, chips, repairs or the likes. Entire set present with no chips, cracks or repairs. All with original boxes and certificactions from Hummel Goebel Germany. The three pieces that are the bases are not from Germany, although they were produced by Hummel. They are also in different boxes and do not have the same numbered signature of authentication on the bottom. I show all of this in pictures. IMPORTANT NOTE: The rotating stand does not work, it is run by batteries and a push button switch on the outside. It makes a noise and tries to go around but is not working. This beautiful figurine depicts a charming Goose Girl, crafted with care from Ceramic & Porcelain by the Hummel, Goebel brand in Germany during the years in the late 50s to early 60s. It stands at a height of 4.75 inches and is colored Multicolor, making it a lovely addition to any collection or decor.
