This specific piece is a highly collectible First Issue and features a rare hand-signed artist signature and date (2001) on the base. This figurine depicts a young newsboy proudly holding a newspaper with the Extra! Headline and an American flag, originally released as a tribute to American pride. Model Number: HUM #2113. Edition: Official First Issue (marked on base). Special Attribution: Hand-signed in ink by a Goebel Master Artist and dated 2001. Condition: Excellent vintage condition. No chips, cracks, or repairs. Colors are vibrant and the glaze is crisp. (Please see high-resolution photos for the best representation of condition). Origin: Hand-painted in Germany. The base includes the incised #2113 mold number, the blue Goebel TMK-8 backstamp, the painter’s initials (“MK 01″), and the artist’s event signature.
