SIZE: H: 6 DESCRIPTION. This figurine, which was first known as Tired Little Traveler, was designed by master sculptor Reinhold Unger in 1949. The eyes are painted with no color. This is the normal variation associated with this figurine. Hum 204 was temporarily withdrawn from production in 1999 and was reintroduced in 2009 under TMK-9. This piece is the original TMK-6. This figurine has the famous signature M. Hummel in the center like all his authentic pieces. Although my mother had this piece while I was growing up so I would assume it is early 1980’s. The artist full name is Sister Maria Innocentia Hummel born May 21, 1909. These figurines depicts her love of children, animals, nature, and her deep devotion to the Catholic faith, which were introduced by Franz W. Goebel at the Leipzig Fair in March 1935. The figurine is a bit dirty, I did not want to clean it as I was afraid to damage it. It is in perfect condition but does not have original box.
