It looks like the artist working on this one signed it “86”. I think that is the artist signature and date that I have taken a picture of. You can decide that, of course for yourself. I don’t see any craz ing on this unit except the inside under the ” the love li ves on” there is some what appears to be crazy. I think it shows pretty well in my picture. I won’t guarantee that there is no crazing, I will only say that my 79-year-old eyes do not see any. Please ask all questions before making an offer. Thank you for looking. Condition: Very good vintage condition; light signs of age and wear (see photos). Missing battery cover lid but it has the effect f holding the battery. This is a Scarce Hummel Porcelain Chapel Time Clock, which is in excellent condition. This is the clock produced and released by Goebel “CHAPEL TIME BERGKIRCHLEIN”. The Roman numeral XX meaning the Twentieth Century. Measures 11 ¼” tall and the base 6 1/2″ x 6. It takes a “C” battery (not included) and is in fully tested great working order. The movement is a Kienzle Quartz. Note that there is a white stop/ start button on the clock on the interior of the unit.

We have recently acquired a beautiful Goebel Hummel Century Collection 1988 “Call to Worship” 12.5 Clock Figurine. The Figurine itself is in excellent condition with no damage. In the last photo you can see some corrosion on the battery compartment, so I doubt the clock works. It will probably need new clock works if you want a working clock, but it would display well as is. I do not have the original box. Please be sure to read these notes about us.
