Possible Future Edition Taller Version Angel with wings standing tall and holding a much more detailed lantern than the smaller released version. Overall this figure is of much higher quality and detail than the released as it is a mother sample, what was originally presented to the convent for approval. Only a very few samples are created and presented to the convent for approval, those that are not approved exist in only samples, typically in numbers you can count on one hand. This piece is not only taller, it stands on a square base compared to the released round base. Stands at 5.75″ tall compared to the released piece which stands at 4.5″. This figurine, signed by Wolfgang Marr, is part of the M. Hummel collection and is a limited edition piece from the late 20th century. Hand-painted and coming in its original box, this collectible is a perfect addition to any room, showcasing the intricate craftsmanship and artistic detail of M. Made in Germany, this figurine is a unique and valuable piece for collectors of decorative sculptures and figurines. I personally took it to South Bend, Indiana, on July 14, 1990, to be signed by Wolfgang Marr, a Hummel artist. This is new store inventory. Figurine is in original great condition. The box has minor shelf wear from storage.
