Hummel Club Pamphlet Included – Closed Edition. This hummel was originally modeled by master sculptor Arthur Möeller in 1955. It was first introduced in the U. In the summer of 1990, Goebel announced a worldwide limited edition of 20,000 pieces in a uniquely altered form, to commemorate the first anniversary of the opening of the Berlin Wall. The difference between the original 1972 version and the new limited edition version is significant and symbolic. Originally, midway up the sign-post was a small sign which read “HALT”. Now, like so many similar signs along the East/West border, the sign lays on the ground. During the production of this special figurine, the factory changed trademarks. The outer box, certificate of authenticity and base of hummel all have the same matching individual number. This is a closed edition. See below for the specifications. New Open Box – Hummel was stored in attic with dozens of other hummels. Only opened box to inspect and provide accurate item description for this listing. Figurine was never displayed.
