It was the fifth figurine issued in the M. Hummel Century Collection Series of limited edition figurines and clocks. “Let’s Tell The World” was first released in the U. Hummel signature is incised on back lower side of base, above the name sticker. Retains original “Sturmlauten Let’s Tell The World” name sticker on the lower back side of figurine, by the base. Oversized: Hummel matches the catalog’s listed height of 10.5″ but exceeds the listed 7″ width by nearly an inch, measuring at about 7.875 wide. Retains all original Vibrant colors and Gloss. This figurine is the fifth one issued in the Century Collection Series. Limited Quantities: Production was limited to one year only! String is fully intact and rings the bell when pulled. Hummel Club Pamphlet Included – Closed Edition. This hummel was originally modeled by master sculptor Arthur Möeller in 1955. It was first introduced in the U. In the summer of 1990, Goebel announced a worldwide limited edition of 20,000 pieces in a uniquely altered form, to commemorate the first anniversary of the opening of the Berlin Wall. The difference between the original 1972 version and the new limited edition version is significant and symbolic. Originally, midway up the sign-post was a small sign which read “HALT”. Now, like so many similar signs along the East/West border, the sign lays on the ground. During the production of this special figurine, the factory changed trademarks. The outer box, certificate of authenticity and base of hummel all have the same matching individual number. This is a closed edition. See below for the specifications. New Open Box – Hummel was stored in attic with dozens of other hummels. Only opened box to inspect and provide accurate item description for this listing. Figurine was never displayed. Hummel has Goebel W. Hummel has special Circular Backstamp M. Hummel 1990 A Celebration of Freedom SONDER AUSGABE LIMITED EDITION in blue on underside of base. Hummel has No. 01004 of 20,000 on underside of base. All text stamped in Blue except for “01004”, which is hand-signed/numbered in black by Master Painter. Early Number – This example is one of the earlier versions, number 01004 of 20,000. Master Painter Hand-signed signature in black on underside of base. Hummel signature is incised on rear side of base. Comes with original special large two sided hand-numbered thick stock Certificate of Authenticity Card. Also included is original yellow Quality Control paper, Goebel survey card, M. Hummel Club pamphlet with enrollment form inside and numbered original box with foam inserts. Hummel is in New Open Box condition. Box may show very slight wear. Message me for more details/options. Hummel figurines are the larger pieces that Goebel produced over the years. One excellent example of these large figurines is Hummel “Harmony In Four Parts”, #471. Harmony In Four Parts was produced in 1989 for the M. Hummel Century Collection, which consisted of limited edition figurines and clocks. Harmony In Four Parts was designed by master sculptor Gerhard Skrobek. The figurine measures 9-3/4? This figurine was the fourth in the series to be created as a Century Collector’s piece. Released in 1989 for the U. One interesting fact about this figurine is that later versions of it were produced with metal lampposts since the earlier ceramic lampposts were prone to breakage. Some collectors speculate that over time the figurines with the ceramic lampposts will be more valuable than those with metal posts as fewer figurines with ceramic posts were produced. Signed “YCW 621″ and “Uiga” on underside of base. Uiga is my interpretation of the signature. I may be incorrect with spelling. Please refer to picture. Incised “471” and “1987” on underside of base.
