Possible Future Edition Taller Version Angel with wings standing tall and holding a much more detailed lantern than the smaller released version. Overall this figure is of much higher quality and detail than the released as it is a mother sample, what was originally presented to the convent for approval. Only a very few samples are created and presented to the convent for approval, those that are not approved exist in only samples, typically in numbers you can count on one hand. This piece is not only taller, it stands on a square base compared to the released round base. Stands at 5.75″ tall compared to the released piece which stands at 4.5″. This is in excellent condition and comes as shown with no damage or repairs. As always, more than willing to accept reasonable offers too, thank you for viewing.

The product is a S IGNED Goebel M. Hummel Let’s Tell the World HUM 487 Century Figure, featuring a large porcelain figurine of kids ringing a bell. This figurine, signed by Wolfgang Marr, is part of the M. Hummel collection and is a limited edition piece from the late 20th century. Hand-painted and coming in its original box, this collectible is a perfect addition to any room, showcasing the intricate craftsmanship and artistic detail of M. Made in Germany, this figurine is a unique and valuable piece for collectors of decorative sculptures and figurines. I personally took it to South Bend, Indiana, on July 14, 1990, to be signed by Wolfgang Marr, a Hummel artist. This is new store inventory. Figurine is in original great condition. The box has minor shelf wear from storage.

Hummel figurine circa 1970s made in West Germany of the Virgin Mary praying adorned with red stars on the halo and produced by Goebel with an artisan’s signature under the overglaze. No crazing on the glaze but the is a small chip on the right hand side of the statue’s white base. Minimal rust stains left on the underside of the ceramic as I have found this inside a broken down camper in the backyard woods of my neighbor, fully covered in a layer of dirt which I carefully cleaned to reveal the minimally colored highlight glazing on the robes, her dainty yet serene glaze painted facial features. I had permission from the owners of the property to search and retrieve items to sell here along with several antique items they commissioned me to sell for them. To the best of my knowledge and research that I’ve done in appraising this Hummel piece, the pricing is on the fair side and taking into account the comparibles, the condition, rarity, and assumed demand. I hope that whomever end up with piece of artwork find happiness and be blessed in this statue’s second chance to be seen and admired.

Original Goebel Hummel figurine # Hum 86. Double crown mark painted by master sample painter Robert Lindner. Height 12.5 cm (about 5 inches). TMK 1 “Crown Mark”. The figurine was made between 1938 and 1949. It has under the base a stamped, as well as an incised TMK 1 “Crown Mark”. Since there are no other stamps, it was most likely made before 1945. The figurine has under the base the initials of Goebel’s master sample painter (one of three at that time) Robert Lindner. This figurine was originally modeled by master sculptor Reinhold Unger in 1938. Being an early piece, both pigtails are down. There are a few tiny craze lines, mainly on top of the base. The figurine is well kept and in excellent condition with no damage, chips, repairs or the likes. Please feel free to contact me anytime for further information. This is a Set of 2 Goebel Hummel Waiter 154 Grey Pants looking to his left (crackling on head) and 154/1 Brown Pants looking Straight with Rhein Wine (minor crackling on bottom). Both are TMK2 Full Bee 1950-59 Figurines. All offers will be responded to but if the price has already been lowered, we may not accept it and if it is a lowball offer it will be automatically rejected! All items are priced at or below market. We are in no way experts. But from what we can find the items description. Is to the best of our knowledge. This set is in good co ndition with no chips, cracks but does have some crackling. (see pictures as they are part of the description).
