Hummel figurine Hum 10/1 Flower Madonna TMK 1 Crown Mark, RARE color variant

Original Goebel Hummel figurine # Hum 10/1 “Flower Madonna” by Goebel. Crown MArk Rare paint variant open halo. Height about 21 cm (about 8 1/4 inches). TMK 1 “Crown Mark”. The figurine was made between 1935 and 1949. It has under the base an incised TMK 1 “Crown Mark”. Since there are no other stamps, the figurine was most likely made before 1945. This figurine was originally modeled by master sculptor Reinhold Unger in 1935. This is the original old style with the open halo. It is painted in a rare paint variant. There are a few tiny craze lines, only on the underside of the base. The figurine is well kept and in excellent condition with no damage, chips, repairs or the likes. Manufactured in 1950 -1959 in Germany, this original piece from the Hummel collection showcases a Storybook style from the mid-20th century era. It was called “Psalmist” in earlier catalogs.
