HUM 487 – “Let’s Tell The World” – TMK-6. Height – 10.5″ Tall X 7.875″ Wide. Some of the most popular and very collectible M. Hummel figurines are the larger pieces that Goebel produced over the years. One excellent example of these large figurines is Hummel Let’s Tell The World, #487. It was the fifth figurine issued in the M. Hummel Century Collection Series of limited edition figurines and clocks. “Let’s Tell The World” was first released in the U. Market in 1990 and was limited to a single year of production in the Twentieth Century. It was modeled by master sculptor Gerhard Skrobek in 1987, based on the original art of Sister Maria Innocentia Hummel. This one actually exceeds the catalog’s listed width (7) by nearly a full inch. A circular inscription applied by blue decal reads: M. Hummel Figurines in a straight line through the circle. “LET’S TELL THE WORLD” is centered underneath the circular decal. This is a closed edition (CE). See below for the specifications. New Open Box – Hummel was stored in attic with dozens of other hummels. Only opened box to inspect and provide accurate item description for this listing. Special Backstamp: Circular blue stamp of M. Hummel Figurines is in a straight line through the circle. Signed “XMU 776″ and “W” on underside of base by Master Painter. The box has the matching “XMU 776″ handsigned on the label too. Hummel signature is incised on back lower side of base, above the name sticker. Retains original “Sturmlauten Let’s Tell The World” name sticker on the lower back side of figurine, by the base. Oversized: Hummel matches the catalog’s listed height of 10.5″ but exceeds the listed 7″ width by nearly an inch, measuring at about 7.875 wide. Retains all original Vibrant colors and Gloss. This figurine is the fifth one issued in the Century Collection Series. Limited Quantities: Production was limited to one year only! String is fully intact and rings the bell when pulled.
