Hummel porcelain figurine titled Extra! God Bless America (HUM #2113). This specific piece is a highly collectible First Issue and features a rare hand-signed artist signature and date (2001) on the base. This figurine depicts a young newsboy proudly holding a newspaper with the Extra! Headline and an American flag, originally released as a tribute to American pride. Model Number: HUM #2113. Hummel/Goebel, #406’PLEASANT JOURNEY’ Century Collection #2, TMK6, signed

This closed edition Hummel,’Pleasant Journey’ #406, was produced only in 1987 as the second piece in the Goebel/Hummel Century Collection. This charming work features two young girls pulling a wooden cart with a young boy enjoying the ride. The detail in the sculpting of the figures and the painting is exceptional. This piece is stamped with the authentic Hummel Century Collection stamp as well as the TMK-6 stamp. A unique addition to this figurine is a rare hand-signed inscription by Goebel Master painter Ottilie Jakob, that was added at a special signing event in 1987. The personal dedication reads “To Carolyn and Bob, ” Ottilie Jakob 3-31-87. This piece, which has been exhibited as part of our family collection, will make a wonderful addition to yours. No chips, cracks, scratches, or repairs. Underside of base-only- has faint crazing. Previously displayed as part of our family collection.

2001 HUMMEL GOEBEL CELEBRATES 50 YEARS OF DISNEY MAGIC 7 PC SET SIGNED NIB #996. Two artistic giants, Walt Disney and Franz Goebel, shared an understanding of the spirit of childhood which became the basis of a warm personal relationship since 1951. With this limited edition, Goebel celebrates 50 Years of Disney Magic. The plaque and all figurines in this set feature a special commemorative backstamp, the same Limited-Edition Number 996 and a golden rim around the base. The set includes all original pieces, including the figurines, the wooden/resin base, and the commemorative plaque. Mint Condition: No chips, cracks, crazing, or repairs. Kept in storage for over 22 years. Original Packaging: Having the original boxes (and internal packing), especially the Certificate of Authenticity (COA). Set has been stored in boxes, never displayed. Display is 8″ high including the center figurine, figurines are 3″ to 5 high. All figurines are signed and dated by the master artist on the bottom of the base. The 50th Anniversary Goebel/Hummel Disney set was made in a limited run of 1000 pieces in cooperation with Goebel/Hummel and Disney artists. Beautiful Hummel porcelain figurine! Shows two figures pulling a small child in a wagon. It looks to be in mint condition with no chips or scratches observed! There is only a slight bit of crazing on the underside. It has its original sticker naming it “Pleasant Journey”.
