Offered for sale is a RARE TMK1 Merry Wanderer HUM # 7/0. With bottom eyelashes, an incised crown mark. And dated April 1938–as per the markings on the underside. This is a large piece standing 6.25 Tall, not to be confused with HUM #11 which vary in height between approx. 4.25″ & 4.75″. Was molded by master sculptor Arthur Möeller in 1935. It depicts a happy-go-lucky boy with a travel bag in his left hand, and an umbrella on his right shoulder, setting out to make his mark in the world; which he most certainly did. He is one of the most beloved Hummels of all time. Condition: Excellent near mint condition, vibrant colors and very clean with some crazing on the top of base. Umbrella tip was repaired, but hard to notice–unless you know it’s there–as it was repaired with museum quality glue and that does not show up under UV black light. Please review all pictures, and close ups on last two photos. As they are an integral part of the description. Please feel free to contact me with any questions you might have before purchasing. Comes from a smoke free and no-pets home.
