Goebel Torhaus Garten Display with 8 Miniature Hummel Figurines. This display was designed by Olszewski for Goebel for a special issue that was made for collectors in 1991. The Torhaus comes in two pieces. An upright piece which is 9 inches tall, 5 1/8 inches wide and 4 inches deep. The base measures 2 ½ inches tall, 13 ¼ inches wide and 5 ¼ inches deep. Each piece has a plaque on the bottom “Handcrafted Exclusively for Torhaus – (983-D and 984-D)- Designed by Olszewski – Goebel 1991″. The display comes with 8 M. Four of the figurines were originally sculptured for the Little Homemakers plate series: Little Sweeper HUM 171 4/0, Stitch in Time HUM 255 4/0, Wash Day HUM 321 4/0 and Chicken Licken HUM 385 4/0. The other four figurines were originally sculptured for the Little Music Makers plate series: Little Fiddler HUM 2 4/0, Serenade HUM 85 4/0, Band Leader HUM 129 4/0 and Soloist HUM 135 4/0.
