This is adorable figurine is in Excellent Condition – no cracks, chips, repairs or crazing. Please look carefully at all of the photos as they are part of the description. Original Goebel Hummel figurine # Hum 23/3 “Adoration” by Goebel. Crown mark largest size. Height about 23 cm (about 9 1/4 inches). TMK 1 “Crown Mark”. The figurine was made between 1935 and 1949. It has under the base an incised TMK 1 “Crown Mark”. Since there are no other stamps, it was most likely made before 1945. This figurine was originally modeled by master sculptor Reinhold Unger in 1935. The figurine is well kept and in excellent condition with no damage, chips, crazing, repairs or the likes. Hummel figurine, model #340 “Letter to Santa, ” produced by Goebel in West Germany during the TMK-6 era. This charming winter scene features a child mailing a letter at a yellow mailbox, complete with a snow-textured base and a sled at their side – one of the most beloved seasonal Hummel designs. Model: Hummel #340 “Letter to Santa”. Hand-painted with painter’s mark on underside. Classic winter theme with mailbox and sled. The figurine is in excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. Paint colors remain vibrant, and the glaze is clean and well-preserved. Base shows normal age-appropriate crazing typical of TMK-6 pieces. Hummel signature on base. Mold number 340 clearly visible. Hand-applied painter/inspector mark This piece has all the correct indicators of an authentic Hummel from the TMK-6 era. 25 in Base: oval snow-textured platform with sled detail.
