Goebel Hummel #574 Rock a Bye CENTURY COLLECTION Siblings Baby Cradle New Open Box with Postcard and COA. Some of the most popular and very collectible M. Hummel figurines are the larger pieces that Goebel produced over the years. One excellent example of these large figurines is Hummel Rock-A-Bye, #574. It was the ninth figurine issued in the M. Hummel Century Collection series of limited edition figurines and clocks. Rock-A-Bye was issued in 1994 and was limited to a single year of production in the Twentieth Century. It was designed by Helmut Fischer in 1991, based on the original art of Sister Maria Innocentia Hummel. Signed “LEX 449″ and “W” on underside of base. Incised “574” and “1991” on underside of base. Hummel CENTURY COLLECTION 1994 XX Rock-A-Bye Das Nesthäkchen stamped in blue on underside of base. New open box: Hummel was stored in attic with dozens of other hummels in original boxes. Box does show slight wear on lower portion of one side of box, as depicted in picture. Comes with original M. Hummel Club postcard and Certificate of Authenticity. Hummel is Mint! My mother was the President of the Philadelphia Chapter of the Hummel Club during the 1980s and collected Hummel figurines for approximately 50 years.
