2001 HUMMEL GOEBEL CELEBRATES 50 YEARS OF DISNEY MAGIC 7 PC SET SIGNED NIB #996. Two artistic giants, Walt Disney and Franz Goebel, shared an understanding of the spirit of childhood which became the basis of a warm personal relationship since 1951. With this limited edition, Goebel celebrates 50 Years of Disney Magic. The plaque and all figurines in this set feature a special commemorative backstamp, the same Limited-Edition Number 996 and a golden rim around the base. The set includes all original pieces, including the figurines, the wooden/resin base, and the commemorative plaque. Mint Condition: No chips, cracks, crazing, or repairs. Kept in storage for over 22 years. Original Packaging: Having the original boxes (and internal packing), especially the Certificate of Authenticity (COA). Set has been stored in boxes, never displayed. Display is 8″ high including the center figurine, figurines are 3″ to 5 high. All figurines are signed and dated by the master artist on the bottom of the base. The 50th Anniversary Goebel/Hummel Disney set was made in a limited run of 1000 pieces in cooperation with Goebel/Hummel and Disney artists. Five Disney characters are posing as Goebel /Hummel figurines. They are Mickey and Minnie as Stormy Weather; Mickey and Minnie as both Appletree Boy and Girl; Minnie as the Soloist; and Mickey as the Bandleader. For sale is a rare, limited edition, Goebel Celebrates 50 Years of Disney Magic set of figurines. It features the famous’Girl in Apple Tree’ Hummel and a Minnie Mouse figurine modeled after Girl in Apple Tree. Both are signed and only 1000 of the set were ever created. Each figurine comes in an individual box which are inside a larger box for the set. A certificate of Authentic is also included. The figurines, wooded base, and individual boxes are in excellent shape! The larger box does have a few issues. These include sticker residue on the top, a dent along a bottom edge, and a marking on one of the sides. There may be other minor signs of wear. I took pictures of all six sides of the box so you can judge for yourself. Please examine the pictures for the best idea of condition and feel free to ask any questions you may have!

(#2132, TMK8), was issued in celebration of the 25th anniversary of the Hummel Club. It features a delightful scene with a girl holding a teddy bear up to a vintage-style camera, while a cheerful boy poses playfully in front of the lens. The figurine stands approximately 5.75 tall and is in excellent pre-owned condition with no chips or cracks.
