This charming winter scene features a child mailing a letter at a yellow mailbox, complete with a snow-textured base and a sled at their side – one of the most beloved seasonal Hummel designs. The figurine is in excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. Paint colors remain vibrant, and the glaze is clean and well-preserved. Please see pic on side of box. Height: 5.25 inches. Front to back: 4.25 inches. Porcelain figurine based on the drawings of Sister Maria Innocentia Hummel OSF. This figurine shows a little girl bundled up in her winter clothing and on a walk with her trusted companion – her dog. You can see the adoration of the little dog for the little girl in his posture and in his eyes! This figurine is quite special in its rendering of the companionship between children and their pets.

This set is a Hummelscapes Limited Edition to celebrate 25 Years of Goebel’s “Ride into Christmas” figurine #396. Adorable boy rushing home by night with the perfect Christmas tree in his basket. Lighting his way with a latern on his sled. The Hummelscape shows the tracks of his sleigh. Tiny houses off in the distance atop snow-covered mountains show in the backdrop. A tiny bunny notices the boy as he speeds by. Perfect to pass onto future generations that love winter festivities. No original box, but I will package very well. It weighs 2 lbs. Very well made and not easily tipped over. It measures 9″ L x 5.5″ H x 5.5 W. The boy figurine measures 4″ L x 5″ T x 2.5 W. This has been kept in a curio and displays beautifully.
