Hummel, serialized # 4331 of 30,000 is personally signed by the sculptor Gerhard Skrobek, who was reported by the New York Times as the premier postwar artisan of Hummel figurines, the rosy-cheeked porcelain people that have graced millions of mantels around the world for nearly three-quarters of a century.
