EXTREMELY RARE, Mint Condition Goebel Hummel & Disney Tigger “March Winds” Porcelain Figurine Set, with black oak display base. Metallic plaque says Goebel Celebrates 50 Years of Disney Magic Special Edition of 1,000 1951 – 2001. ” This very limited “Celebration Edition (only 1,000 worldwide) was produced by W. No original box or COA’s. GREAT Holiday gift idea! The Hummel “Boy With Scarf” #43/0 measures 5″ in height, and “Tigger” #17351 measures 4 5/8″ in height. Both have a 2 base. They are both hallmarked “Goebel Special Edition 1,000″ and Goebel Celebrates 50 Years of Disney Magic 1951 – 2001. They both have black initials on the base, and are in MINT condition. The Boy With Scarf and Tigger are hand painted in bright, vibrant colors with a gold rim around the base, and they fit into recessed circles in the base for display. The Boy With Scarf is embossed with “M J Hummel” around the back side of the figure. The black oak display base measures 6 1/2″ in length, 3″ in width and 3/4 in height. This Celebration Edition is called March Winds. Two artistic giants, Walt Disney and Franz Goebel, shared an understanding of the spirit of childhood, which became the basis of a warm personal relationship since 1951.
