Original Goebel Hummel figurine # Hum 65 “Farewell” by Goebel. Double crown mark old style. Height about 14.5 cm (about 5 3/4 inches). TMK 1 “Crown Mark”. The figurine was made between 1937 and 1949. It has under the base a stamped, as well as an incised TMK 1 “Crown Mark”, is a so-called “double crown” figurine. Since there are no other stamps, it was most likely made before 1945. This figurine was originally modeled by master sculptor Arthur Moeller in 1937. Incised “65” only, without a size designator, making it a very early piece. The figurine is well kept and in excellent condition with no damage, chips, crazing, repairs or the likes. Please feel free to contact me anytime for further information. Original Goebel Hummel figurine # Hum 345 “A Fair Measure” by Goebel. Hight 15 cm (about 6 inches). The figurine was made in 1972 in the rare old style. This figurine was originally modeled by master sculptor Helmut Wehlte in August 1956. It was later completly restyled by master sculptor Gerhard Skrobek in 1972. This is a rare early piece in the old style. On the last picture I added a figurine in the new style for comparison. The figurine is well kept and in excellent condition with no damage, chips, repairs or the likes. Please feel free to contact me anytime for further information.
