EXTREMELY EARLY RARE Hummel “Angelic Song” figurine TMK 1 WITH INCISED CROWN MARK ALSO HAS U. This figurine measures 4″ tall, 3″ wide, and 2 deep. At one point in its 70-80-some years, THE ANGELS WINGS WHERE BROKEN OFF, I DO NOT HAVE THEM. Please look at all photos closely. THE ANGELS WINGS ARE BROKEN. The Crown Mark (TMK-1 or CM), sometimes referred to as the “Crown-WG”, was used by Goebel on all of its products in 1935, when M. Hummel figurines were first made commercially available. Those subtle differences are of no important significance to the collector. The letters WG below the crown in the mark are the initials of William Goebel, one of the founders of the company. The crown signifies his loyalty to the imperial family of Germany at the time of the mark’s design, around 1900. The mark is sometimes found in an incised circle.

Original Goebel Hummel figurine # Hum 113 “Heavenly Song, Candleholder” by Goebel. Hight 10 cm (about 4 inches). Size about 10 x 14 cm (about 4 inches x 5 3/4 inches). The figurine was made in 1978 and is signed by Franz Kirchner. This figurine was originally modeled by master sculptor Arthur Moeller in 1938. It was only produced in very limited quantities. Similar to Hum 54. It was scheduled for production again in 1978, but the factory decided it should not be produced again. There were only very few sample pieces made. According to Bob Miller’s book 10th edition, p. The figurine is well kept and in excellent condition with no damage, chips, repairs or the likes.
