Original Goebel Hummel figurine # Hum 119 “Postman” by Goebel. Height 13 cm (about 5 1/4 inches). TMK 1 “Crown Mark”. The figurine was made between 1939 and 1949. It has under the base a stamped. Since there are no other stamps, it was most likely made before 1945. This figurine was originally modeled by master sculptor Arthur Moeller in 1939. Being an early piece, the bottom of the base is “Doughnut”. The figurine is well kept and in excellent condition with no damage, chips, repairs, crazing or the likes.
