This charming winter scene features a child mailing a letter at a yellow mailbox, complete with a snow-textured base and a sled at their side – one of the most beloved seasonal Hummel designs. Model: Hummel #340 “Letter to Santa”. Hand-painted with painter’s mark on underside. Classic winter theme with mailbox and sled. The figurine is in excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. Paint colors remain vibrant, and the glaze is clean and well-preserved. Base shows normal age-appropriate crazing typical of TMK-6 pieces. Hummel signature on base. Mold number 340 clearly visible. Hand-applied painter/inspector mark This piece has all the correct indicators of an authentic Hummel from the TMK-6 era. 25 in Base: oval snow-textured platform with sled detail.
