Dolls stand approximately 11 inches tall. They are in very old condition and show their age. There is cracking throughout the body. The boy’s clothes are coming apart from the seams. HUMMEL Goebel Figurine TRUMPET BOY Vintage WWII
This figurine is marked US-Zone Germany. After the end of World War II the United States permitted Goebel to export figurines which had previously been prohibited for exportation. These figurines were marked in various related ways: “Made In US Zone”, “Made In US Zone – Germany”, “US Zone – Germany”, “US Zone”, “Made in US Zone” and “Made in Germany”. These stamps indicated that the figurines were produced in the occupied zone of Germany. All of these markings are considered to be of the same importance as TMK-1 crown marks by collectors. All listed items will be in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. The 2 lines on the bottom appear to be from manufacturing and not from breakage or repair. My father collected Hummel for at least 40 years. I will be gradually listing. The entire collection of figurines, plates, lamps, music boxes, etc. Would entertain offer for the entire collection.
