Listing is for a Hummel figurine #152B/0 titled “Umbrella Girl”. This particular Hummel represents the 50 year anniversary of #152B/0, and is marked so. Umbrella Girl(and boy) have become iconic for Hummel collectors. Young girl seated on the grond, peeking out to the left from under her umbrella. She wears a blue overcoat, orange sandals and has orange ribbons in her pigtails. Her umbrella is brown fading into orange. Not a mark on it. 50 year medallion is included. Note- Original box is available for this item but is in terrible shape. There is no value left in it but was saved if you want it. Vintage Goebel Hummel #2335 Tippy Toes TMK9 Perfect cond, with original box

Genuine, authentic vintage Goebel Hummel figurine. Goebel Hummel #2335 Tippy Toes. Condition: Perfect condition – no cracks, chips, fading, or repairs. Quality made in Germany by Goebel. This piece was available as part of the Founders Collection and is RARE! Goebel Hummel figurines are well-known collectibles, and a favorite among collectors worldwide. The earthenware figures, painted in warm colors, commonly feature children engaged in a variety of innocent, childish pleasures. Sister Maria Innocentia Hummel was born Berta Hummel. At the age of 18, she attended the Academy of Applied Arts in Munich, Germany. Upon graduation in 1931, she entered the Franciscan Convent of Siessan, taking the name of Maria Innocentia. She was given the opportunity to design postcards featuring children which were included in art books. This is where Franz Goebel – managing director of the W. Goebel Porzellanfabrik factory – first saw her work and approached her with the proposition of turning her drawings into three-dimensional figurines that captured the innocence and sweetness of childhood. In 1934, the first 3 clay models were produced and shown to Hummel. She agreed that her images could be used as designs for figurines, on the condition that she had final approval on each piece and that each piece bear her signature. Goebel Hummel handcrafted and hand painted figurines were launched in March of 1935 at the Leipzig Fair and were an immediate success. Unfortunately, Sister Maria passed away in 1946, at the young age of 37, from tuberculosis. In 1971, the Hummel line expanded for the first time to include collector plates, and later bells and ornaments. The Goebel Collector’s Club was founded in 1977 and featured special edition member’s only collector pieces. This is a charming piece and will make a lovely addition to any collection! Up for your consideration is this well cared for Hummel figurine, “Picture Perfect”. It is labeled as #2100 in the catalogue. This figurine is numbered 1251 of 2500. There is a “COA” in the form of a porcelain free standing plaque with the certified number of this item. The piece is also labeled on the bottom of the figurine with the same certified number. The piece is about 8″ tall by about 11″wide. This item was available exclusively to Hummel Club members only on its release. It was made in 2002 to celebrate the 25th year of Hummel.
