Pair Hummel Goebel Apple Tree Boy & Girl Table Lamps; Original Shades/Excellent! This charming pair of Hummel Goebel table lamps feature matching porcelain Hummel figurines of Apple Tree Boy #230 and Apple Tree Girl #229. Each of the two Hummel bases are marked (TM6) and are Artist signed and dated 1985. They were made in West Germany. The original shades, which are unique to the Hummel lamps, are a lovely soft cream with sage green accents. They complement and blend flawlessly with the Apple Tree Boy and Girl figurines. The overall height of each lamp, including the shades, are about 18 tall. Each of the Apple Tree figurines are 7 1/2 tall. FOR MORE DETAILS: Please see Item Specifics. Both lamps are in excellent condition, complete and all original, including the shades. There are no chips, cracks, crazing or repairs. There is a slight difference in the overall height of the lamps because of a variance in the underlying infrastructure of the shades. The wiring for each is in excellent condition. Hummel® Hum 310 “Searching Angle”. NOS – New Old Stock. Dimensions 3-1/4″ wide x 4-1/2″ tall. NOTE: “Searching Angel” has a W. Germany stamp on bottom. Includes original box and packing in excellent condition. Original paperwork, including Certificate of Authenticity (COA). HARD TO FIND Mold was sculpted in 1955 This piece hand painted in 1986. Crafted in high-fired porcelain and hand painted with fired-on China Paints, “Searching Angel”. Was sculpted to celebrate the artistry of Sister Maria Innocentia (born Berta Hummel) also known as M. In 1935, Franz Goebel, a forth generation owner, of W. Goebel porcelain factory introduced the first M. Hummel® figurines, using Berta Hummel’s drawings as the inspiration for the delightful porcelain figurines. When they first appeared on the German market, they were an instant hit with the public, which was then under the Nazi dictatorship of Adolf Hitler. Her naive, yet sentimental figurines reminded buyers of the peaceful world of innocence that they no longer enjoyed. Insisting on maintaining the highest standards, Berta Hummel required the artisans from the Goebel factory come to her, at the Convent of Siessen, to consult with her on the production details. Goebel factory continued to produce Hummel figurines after the end of World War II and Berta’s death, on November 6, 1946. Berta’s Hummel’s work gained worldwide popularity as soldiers and sailors of the Allied Occupation Forces in Germany bought the whimsical little figurines and sent them home. The Goebel Collectors Club was formed in 1977, to bring the thousands of Hummel collectors together, allowing them to share information and stories about their “Hummels”. In 1989, the name of the club was changed to the M. Hummel Werk (Eingetr Warenz). Description and Known History. Own a large piece, approximately 11 inches tall, from the Hummel collection, with the beautiful craftsmanship and attention to detail associated with the Hummel name. The Tag is intact, but the box was not included, although through research we’ve found a couple similar dolls like this one. For something made in the 1950s/1960s it’s in great condition emerging with a few light marks on the knees, worn feather, and discoloration on the socks, to keep these pieces authentic it’s important to keep them as close to original in their present condition, without attempting to wash or clean the outfit or doll itself. If you’re looking for a collectible with History this has plenty to uncover. 1700 (Engraved on Feet). 8-Piece Outfit (White Undergarment, White Shirt, Brown Suspenders, Plaid Green Coat, Green Hat, Red Ascot, Two Striped Off-White Socks). Vintage Goebel Hummel #2335 Tippy Toes TMK9 Perfect cond, with original box

Genuine, authentic vintage Goebel Hummel figurine. Goebel Hummel #2335 Tippy Toes. Condition: Perfect condition – no cracks, chips, fading, or repairs. Quality made in Germany by Goebel. This piece was available as part of the Founders Collection and is RARE! Goebel Hummel figurines are well-known collectibles, and a favorite among collectors worldwide. The earthenware figures, painted in warm colors, commonly feature children engaged in a variety of innocent, childish pleasures. Sister Maria Innocentia Hummel was born Berta Hummel. At the age of 18, she attended the Academy of Applied Arts in Munich, Germany. Upon graduation in 1931, she entered the Franciscan Convent of Siessan, taking the name of Maria Innocentia. She was given the opportunity to design postcards featuring children which were included in art books. This is where Franz Goebel – managing director of the W. Goebel Porzellanfabrik factory – first saw her work and approached her with the proposition of turning her drawings into three-dimensional figurines that captured the innocence and sweetness of childhood. In 1934, the first 3 clay models were produced and shown to Hummel. She agreed that her images could be used as designs for figurines, on the condition that she had final approval on each piece and that each piece bear her signature. Goebel Hummel handcrafted and hand painted figurines were launched in March of 1935 at the Leipzig Fair and were an immediate success. Unfortunately, Sister Maria passed away in 1946, at the young age of 37, from tuberculosis. In 1971, the Hummel line expanded for the first time to include collector plates, and later bells and ornaments. The Goebel Collector’s Club was founded in 1977 and featured special edition member’s only collector pieces. This is a charming piece and will make a lovely addition to any collection!
